Contract Security Guard

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Contract Hotel Security Officer to patrol the lobby and common areas of our hotel. The primary responsibility of this position is to prevent vagrants from entering the building and to maintain a visible security presence to deter suspicious activity. The ideal candidate will be proactive, observant, and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

– Patrol the lobby, common areas, and exterior of the hotel premises at regular intervals to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.

– Identify and address any unauthorized individuals attempting to enter the hotel premises, with a particular emphasis on preventing vagrants from entering the building.

– Respond to and investigate disturbances, complaints, or security-related incidents, and take appropriate action according to hotel policies and procedures.

– Provide a professional and courteous security presence to guests, visitors, and staff, offering assistance when needed and maintaining a helpful and approachable demeanor.

– Collaborate with hotel management and local law enforcement, if necessary, to address security concerns and maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications:

– Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and to make quick, effective decisions when faced with security-related incidents.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, staff, and external authorities.

– Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as the capacity to respond to emergencies and security situations as needed.

– Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to security and trespassing, with a commitment to upholding these standards to ensure the safety of the hotel’s premises and occupants.

Preferred Qualifications:

– Previous experience in hotel or hospitality security is a plus but not necessary. Full training is provided.
